The Spoon is of the trefid form with a reeded rat tail on the reverse of the bowl. The top of the stem is engraved with a set of contemporary initials surrounded by prick dot decoration. This example is very well marked and has a good bowl. The makers mark is illustrated on page 139 of Jackson and the example cited is a trefid spoon.
