The Spoons are modelled in the Old English pattern, with good tips to the bowls. The top of each stem display a non-heraldic private die end, with a raised wheatsheaf. The spoons are in excellent condition and are well marked on the reverse. Private die flatware is rare, especially from Scotland. It was made in the workshops of Robert Gray, however rare to find by other Scottish silversmiths.
Length: 9 inches, 22.5 cm.
Width across the bowl, at the widest point: 1.75 inches, 4.38 cm.
Weight: 13 oz.
