This very rare piece is oval in form with a deep bowl and spreading rim. The dish is plain in design and the rim is engraved with a contemporary Crest. This piece is very well made as one would expect from these Royal makers and displays original hammer marks on the exterior from when it was originally raised. This is the first time we have handled such a dish and the underside displays a crisp set of marks. The Crest is that of the Neave family of Dagnam Park, Essex, created Baronets in 1795, therefore this Dish could well have been made to celebrate this occasion.
