The Salt Cellars are modelled in a very unusual Classical circular form, with reeded rim and bat wing fluted body.  Each stands on three fluted scroll legs, with leaf capped mouldings where they are attached to the main body.  Each also has reeded incuse stretchers attached to each leg.  The main body is also engraved with a contemporary Crest and displays a gilded interior.  The Cellars are all in exceptional condition and are fully marked on the side of each of the bodies.  John Edwards was a very fine silversmith, specialising in innovative designs.
