The label is finely modelled and very detailed, you can also see the eagle's eye, tongue coming from the beak, and surface texture to simulate the feathers. In heraldic terms it is a demi winged eagle on a chapeau, which is that as used by the Deacons family. The rectangular banner is below, which is pierced for MADEIRA. Some of the mark details are pierced out by the lettering, however there is sufficient to be able to date it and identify the maker. This piece is in quite excellent condition.
Height: 1.75 inches, 4.38 cm.
Width: 1.5 inches, 3.75 cm.
