An early George III Soup Ladle made in London in 1766 by Thomas & William Chawner

The Soup Ladle has a deep scallop shell bowl and the Old English Pattern stem is decorated with an outer feather edge border. The top of the stem is also engraved with a set of contemporary initials and Crest, all surrounded by a foliate cartouche. This piece is very well bottom marked on the reverse.
