The Spice Sifter is of a very unusual long size and may well have been an apprentice piece. It is modelled in the fiddle and thread pattern, which is double struck, and the circular bowl is pierced with plain roundels. The top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest and the reverse displays a crisp set of hallmarks. This piece is in excellent condition and is of a size which is rarely seen.
Length: 7.5 inches, 18.75 cm.
Diameter of the bowl: 1.25 inches, 3.13 cm.
