The Caddy Spoon displays a heart shaped bowl decorated with an outer prick dot "Greek Key" band. The slightly tapering handle is engraved with foliate motifs and a prick dot oval cartouche containing a set of contemporary script initials. The spoon is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse of the stem. Joseph Taylor made Caddy Spoons with heart bowls, however we had not seen this specific design over the years.
Length: 3 inches, 7.5 cm.
Width across the bowl, at the widest point: 1.45 inches, 3.63 cm.
