The Caddy Spoon is finely modelled to simulate the shape of an acorn, with slightly curved bowl. This piece has a shaped handle, with square end engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The Spoon is in excellent condition and is well marked on the reverse. Thomas James was a prolific Caddy Spoon maker and this spoon very much displays the characteristics of his work.
