The Caddy Spoon is realistically modelled as a hand with a shaped handle engraved with a set of contemporary script initials.  The fingers, on the reverse of the spoon, are engraved with prick dot bands to simulate the nails on the hand.  This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked.  After the eagles's wing, the "Hand" caddy spoon is considered to be one of the rarest of all of the designs.

Length: 2.6 inches, 6.5cm.
Width: 1.45 inches, 3.63cm.
