The caddy spoon is modelled in Joseph Taylor's unusual interpretation of the Heart caddy spoon, with stylised heart shaped bowl, with serrated edge and engraved border of foliate motifs on a prick dot ground. The centre displays a plain shield shaped motif. The fiddle pattern handle has an angular end and is engraved with foliate motifs, as well as a cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
