The Bowl is of a typically Irish design and stands on three hoof feet which are attached to the main body with shell mouldings. The main body has a plain baluster form and rises to an everted rim which is beautifully and unusually shaped. The base is very well marked and is engraved with the contemporary initials MS. Pieces from Cork are scarce, however it is the first time we have offered this design of bowl and also a piece by the rare maker, Stephen Walsh. The bowl has an excellent colour.
