The four Salt Cellars are modelled as Neo-Classical urns and stand on stepped circular pedestal feet decorated with reeding. The deep circular bowls are gilded and display a reeded rim. The loop handles are also decorated with reeding and each is very well marked on the foot. The quality of design and production is exceptional, as would be expected from the workshops of these Royal makers. The Salt Cellars are of a good large size and could be used on the table for sauces or other condiments.
