The Coasters are of a design which we have not previously seen. Both are circular in form and have an unusual gadrooned rim interspersed with foliate motifs. The sides are most unusually pierced and chased with trailing oak leaves and acorns. The Coasters have their original turned wooden bases and central silver circular boss.
Height: 2 inches, 5cm.
Diameter: 6 inches, 15cm.
