The Mustard Pot is modelled in the very scarce Neo Classical "Urn" form and stands on a pedestal foot decorated with a beaded edge and bright cut designs.  The vase shaped main body rises to a beaded rim and is pierced with vitruvian scrolls and Neo Classical urns in ovals.  The main body is also engraved with beautiful bright cut floral garlands, tied with ribbons, in addition to prick dot roundels.  The stepped domed cover is also engraved with prick dot and wriggle work designs and terminates in a tiny beaded urn finial.  This fine example has a scroll handle and blue glass liner.  The Mustard Pot is in excellent condition, is fully marked in the foot and with the sterling mark on the underside of the cover.  A similar example was contained in the Coleman Collection of Mustard Pots and is illustrated on page 28 of the catalogue.

Height: 4.5 inches, 11.25 cm.

Diameter at the rim: 2.5 inches, 6.25 cm
