The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form and is unusually engraved all over with diamond motifs containing chequered designs. The cover also shows a crossed branch cartouche containing script initials. The interior is finely gilded and the unusual grille is pierced with an oval containing a floral and foliate spray. The oval is also surrounded by foliate motifs. This piece is in excellect condition and is very well marked.
