The box is circular in form and plain in design with a pull off cover. Both the cover and the side of the base are engraved with a contemporary Crest. The quality of this piece is exceptional as one would expect from these makers. As you will appreciate, it is unusual to find tobacco boxes from this date which leads us to believe that it may have been a special commission.
