The Snuff Box has a broad rectangular form with deep, serpentine shaped, sides.  The front, sides and base are profusely engraved with pluming scrolls, the cover displaying a vacant cartouche and the base a dog running in a rural landscape.  The box is in very crisp condition with deep interior gilding.
