This very fine Table Snuff Box has a deep broad rectangular form.  The sides and base are decorated with engine turned designs and the base displays a foliate scroll and flower head frame.  The hinged cover is also decorated with engine turned designs around a circular button cartouche engraved with a set of contemporary script initials.  The edge of the cover displays a wide, finely detailed, band of raised oak leaves and acorns.  This box is in excellent, crisp, condition and is very well mark in side in the base and on the underside of the cover.  The interior gilding is also in excellent condition.
