The Salts each stand on a pedestal platform base with four ball feet. The rectangular main body has a gadrooned rim, fine interior gilding and is engraved with contemporary script initials. The Salts are of a very unusual design and are well marked. Silver made by Ann Roberston is particularly scarce.
