This very unusual Mug stands on a pedestal foot decorated with a band of foliate motifs. The campana shaped main body displays a wide band of lobing on the lower section and a most unusual band of raised Rococo shells and anthemion motifs on the upper section. This rare example also has a very detailed serpent handle and the front is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. This piece is in excellecnt condition and is very well marked on the side of the main body.
