The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form and the cover and base are identically decorated with a gilded rose in bloom growing up a trellis work panel. This is all enclosed by a rare border of foliate motifs and berries. The sides are decorated with linear bands and the cover opens up to reveal a gilded interior and grille pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls. A very rare design in most excellent condition. Fully marked on the bezel.
