A rare George III Mustard Pot made in London in 1796 by Henry Chawner & John Emes.

The Mustard Pot is of the Drum form and is decorated with reeding at the base and on the rim. The main body is also pierced with a band of bluebell drops and the front is decorated with an unusual vacant circular cartouche. The domed cover is engraved with prick dot bands and terminates in an urn finial. The scroll handle is decorated with reeding and is attached to the cover with an oval thumb piece. The Pot is fully marked on the base and with the sterling mark on the cover.
