This fine box is circular in form with a pull-off cover. The sides, base and cover display reeded borders and a circular swing extinguisher. This example has a shaped carrying handle modelled as a buckle. The Bougie Box is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the base and on the cover, as well as with a sterling mark on the side. The side is engraved with the contemporary Armorial of a Lady in a lozenge shaped surround.
