The Salt Cellars are cast and stand on three unusual scroll legs with shell feet and China man mask mouldings where they are attached to the main body. The flared wavy rim is unusually pierced with arch work and the baluster sides display unusual Chinoiserie scenes, surrounded by scroll work. The front of each piece displays a vacant cartouche surrounded by a Rococo shell detail cartouche. A very unusual design which we have not previously seen.
