Each Cellar stands on a spreading circular foot decorated with reeding and two bands of cording. The deep circular main body rises to a reed and corded rim and the underside is very unusually engraved with lobed and arrow head designs. Each is also engraved with a contemporary Crest, above a coronet. The interiors display deep original gilding and the feet are unusually engraved with numbers 1 to 4. Each is engraved with their original scratch weight. The underside displays a crisp set of hallmarks and the distinctive Gothic maker's mark of David Hennell I, registered in 1739.

Diameter at the rim: 3.5 inches.
