A rare George II Cast Serving Slice made in London in 1759 by Edward Aldridge

The Serving Slice has a triangular shaped blade which is pierced and engraved with scroll work and a very unusual stylised basket motif. The unusual ribbed handle has a scroll end and is attached to the blade with a stylised double flower head moulding.
