The label is modelled in the scarce postage stamp design, with a double thread edge. It is engraved with Ms, which we think may be an abbreviation for Malmsey. As you will appreciate, labels from Exeter are not common, especially with such a rare title. This piece is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
