This rare piece has a slightly tapering tubular handle and arched blade section for coring the apple. This piece unscrews in the centre and the blade fits perfectly into the handle for travelling. The Corer is of a very good gauge and is finely made. The end of the handle is marked with the makers mark and sterling mark and the blade with the makers mark, duty mark and sterling mark. This is the first time we have ever seen a Hester Bateman Apple Corer.
