This piece is unusually modelled as a cup, with a circular base and rim and slightly baluster sides. The cup has an applied band on the rim and a most unusual harp shaped, double S scroll handle, which is decorated on top with a detailed applied shell motif. The front of the Cup is engraved with Euphemia Scott, surrounded by a linear cartouche. This piece is very well marked, on the base, once with the Perth Town mark and twice with I.P for John Pringle. The Cup is in excellent condition and is of a good gauge and fine colour. This is the first time we have come across this design of drinking vessel over all of the years.
Height: 2.2 inches, 5.5cm.
Diameter at the rim: 3.5 inches, 8.75cm
Weight: 5oz.
