The Mustard Pot is modelled in the "Drum" form, with a slightly spreading base.  The rim displays a band of applied beading and the sides are pierced with an eclectic mix of vitruvian scrolls, flower heads in roundels and vertical pails.  The sides are also engraved with bright cut and wriggle work bands.  The slightly domed cover displays a bright cut outer border and a central shield shaped Armorial with ribbons above.  This example has a scroll handle and a pierced fan shaped thumb piece.  The Mustard Pot is a known Hennell design and is in excellent condition.  The base displays a crisp set of hallmarks and a maker's mark and sterling mark on the underside of the cover.

Diameter: 2.5 inches, 6.25 cm.

Height, to the top of the thumb piece: 3 inches, 7.5 cm.
