The Beaker is of a good large size and stands on an applied spreading foot decorated with reeding.  The slightly tapering sides are of a good thick gauge and the front is engraved with a very unusual contemporary Crest.  The interior displays deep gilding and the side is very well marked.  John Emes made exceptional Beakers and this is of the finest quality.  The Beaker is in quite excellent condition.
