The Jug stands on a circular stepped foot which is decorated with a reeded band. The main body is baluster shaped in form and rises to a slightly everted rim which is also decorated with a reeded band. This piece has a cast sparrow beak pouring spout, with drop beneath, and a plain scroll handle, which is engraved with contemporary initials.
