The Tot Mug stands on a circular spreading foot which is decorated with reeded bands. The bell shaped body rises to an everted rim, which is also decorated with a reeded band. This piece has a scroll side handle. The Cup is in excellent condition and is very well marked in the foot. Joseph Sanders was apprenticed to Joseph Belcher and had workshops in Carey Lane, London, when this mug was made.
