The wine label is modelled in a very unusual shaped oval form and the outer border is engraved with stylised trailing vines and grapes. The centre of the face is engraved with vertical linear bands around a rectangular banner engraved for SHERRY. This is a most unusual design from the Bateman workshops and wine labels are not often seen by Peter & William Bateman. This piece is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the reverse.
