The Wine Label is modelled in the Heraldic style and has a narrow rectangular banner with supporters and cartouche above, all decorated with a beaded border. The cartouche is engraved with a contemporary Crest and the banner has been pierced upside down with the title WHITE WINE. The label is in excellent condition and, although unmarked, was made in London circa 1775. This was possibly made by Samuel Meriton, as it was a design produced in his workshops.

Length: 1.75 inches, 4.38cm.
Width: 1.15 inches, 2.88cm.
