The Tongs have elegantly shaped and pierced arms, with horizontal pails, and an unusual feather edge border. The arms terminate in shell grips, flanked by scrolls and the arched top is unusually engraved with stylised vines and bunches of grapes. The arch is also engraved with a set of contemporary marriage initials. The tongs are in excellent condition and are clearly marked with the makers mark and sterling mark.
Length: 5.25 inches, 13.13cm.
