The Spoon is modelled in the transitional pattern as the styling is moving from the Trefid to the Dognose end. The Spoon has a plain rat tail on the reverse of the bowl and displays a very crisp set of marks. The top of the stem is engraved with a most unusual early Heraldic device. Lawrence Jones had a very successful Spoon making career and was apprentice to John King 1676-1686.
Length: 7.6 inches, 19cm.
