This Caddy Spoon is modelled in one of the rare early London designs. The bowl is of the fluted shell form and the cast bi-furcated handle is decorated with bright cutting, prick dot and feather edge designs. The top of the handle is beautifully pierced with a foliate sprig and scroll work motifs. The spoon is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse with the maker's mark and sterling mark. Similar designs can be seen in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 2.

Length: 3.25 inches, 8.13 cm.
Width of the bowl: 1.45 inches, 3.63 cm.
