The Crumb Scoop is modelled with a Kings Pattern handle, which is double struck, and which is engraved at the top with a contemporary Crest. The handle is attached to the plain scoop tray with an arrow head moulding. These scoops were used in the dining room to scoop crumbs from the table cloth. This is the first time we have ever seen one being made in silver, as they are nearly always plated. It must have been a very discerning individual who insisted on their scoop being made of silver. This piece is in excellent condition, is very well marked and is of a very good weight.
