The Cream Jug stands on a square pedestal foot which is engraved with bright cut and prick dot designs, as well as circular reeded bands.  The main body is modelled in the helmet form and has a reeded rim.  The sides are engraved with floral and foliate garlands, as well as an upper band of stylised foliate motifs in ovals.  The front displays a vacant bright cut cartouche, with foliate motif above.  The Jug is in excellent condition with a reeded loop handle and displays original interior hammer marks from when it was originally raised.  This is a desirable feature to see.  The foot is engraved with a set of contemporary initials and is very well marked.
