The Teaspoons and Sugar Nips are modelled in the naturalistic style and are cast. The stems, and bowls, of the spoons are decorated with finely detailed leaves, especially the bowls, with the raised veins of the leaves beautifully shown. The nips are decorated with foliate motifs and the grips are modelled as small leaves. The central boss, of the nips, is decorated with Rococo shell details. The spoons and nips are in exceptionally crisp condition and, although unmarked, were almost certainly made in London. The set is contained within a fitted velvet lined oval case.
