A George III Snuffer Tray and matching George III Snuffer Scissors

The Snuffer Scissors were made in London in 1780 by John Buckett and are of typical form, being decorated with beaded borders. The arms are also decorated with beading and pierced with bluebell motifs.  The Snuffer Tray was made in London in 1786 by Henry Chawner and is oval in form with a raised beaded border.  Each end is pierced with a Neo-Classical urn and the main body is engraved with various bright cut bands and crossed floral garlands.  Both the Scissors and Tray are engraved with the same contemporary Crest.
