ROYAL. A rare George IV Silver Gilt Toddy/Sauce Ladle made in London in 1822 by William Eley & William Fearn.

The Ladle is silver gilt and is modelled in the Kings pattern, which is double struck. This piece has an unusually shaped bowl, resembling more the shape of the Scottish Toddy Ladles. The stem is engraved with the Crest of England, surrounded by the Motto of the Order of the Garter, all with the Crown of the Sovereign above. This piece is of the finest quality, with deep gilding and very crisp marks.
