NATHANIEL MILLS. A very rare Vinaigrette, Worcester Cathedral, made in Birmingham in 1843 by Nathaniel Mills.

This very rare Vinaigrette is of broad rectangular form, with serpentine shaped sides. The cover is finely engraved with a very detailed view of Worcester Cathedral, a subject rarely found on boxes. The sides and base are decorated with pluming scrolls on a scratch engraved ground. The base also displays a vacant scroll cartouche. The interior grille is pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls and flower heads. The Vinaigrette is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
