A very rare George III Caddy Spoon made in Birmingham in 1805 by Samuel Pemberton.

The Caddy Spoon is modelled in Pemberton's very rare "Octagonal Bowl" design, with raised sides decorated with vertical panels of herring bone design. The centre displaying a plain oval, with octagonal frame. This spoon is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the loop handle. This is a particularly rare design and a similar bowl form is shown in "Caddy Spoons", by Captain John Norie, Plate 43, fig b.
