A very fine pair of Neo-Classical Salt Cellars made in London in 1775 by Robert Hennell.

The Salt Cellars stand on four claw and ball feet and the rim is decorated with gadrooning. The sides are pierced with arched pails and display applied blue bell garlands and Classical oval medallions. The front of the main body displays an oval cartouche engraved with a contemporary Crest. Each has a blue glass liner, is very well marked and are in excellent condition.
