A rare George III Spiral Corkscrew made in Birmingham circa 1800 by Samuel Pemberton.

The Corkscrew is of typical "T" form and the top bar and sleeve are decorated with very unusual spiral designs. The base of the sleeve displays a tapering reeded section and the top a star motif. This piece is in excellent condition and is marked on the base of the sleeve with SP for Samuel Pemberton of Birmingham.

Length: 3.1 inches, 7.75cm.
Width of the top bar: 1.6 inches, 4cm.
